Family is a big deal to us.  Back in March we found ourselves making a trip to Maryland due to some sad circumstances.  On the up side it meant we got to spend time with cousin Cyrus and visit with my older sister Emily and my brother-in-law.

No matter what is going on around them kids are still kids and are just naturally happy and ready to play.  They live in the moment and that one of the most beautiful parts of childhood, I think.  While there I made sure to capture their cousin time.  I may have been sweating bullets while trying to take pictures of them but I’m happy with the results and the memories I captured.  I don’t aim for perfection but instead capturing the realness of the moment.
