Growing up, there was never a time that my mom wasn't snapping photos of the five of us kids. She had her point and shoot always within arms reach, ready to document part of our daily life, a spontaneous family vacation, or one of our family get-togethers. Then there were the frequent visits to Ritz camera to pick up her latest stack of prints. I didn't realize it at the time but that was the start of my love of photography. Thank ya momma!
I will always appreciate the many photo albums that line the shelves of mom's house where I can be easily transported back to moments before.
I believe that memories matter. Memories should be captured, preserved and enjoyed. Time has only picked up speed since I became a mom, which has only emphasized the importance of photography in my life.
Photographs trigger emotions and help us to remember those little things that at the time we think we'd never forget, but we do.
My kids have ignited my interest in keeping memories alive. My hope is that I can bless my family and my clients with photos that will fill them with happiness every time they look at them.
When I don't have a camera in my hand you probably can find me on the couch snuggling with my 4 kiddos & husband watching a movie.
Lifestyle photography is not just looking at the camera and saying "cheese!" Yes, we will get those photos, but I will focus on capturing the in-between moments that are super special!
I am very laid-back. I will gently direct you during the session but will also let things unfold naturally.
Getting your photos taken shouldn't be another thing that stresses you out. I will walk you through the process and help you be well prepared and excited for your session!
