First 48 Newborn

First 48 Newborn sessions are amazing. These take place at the hospital within a day or two after your baby is born. I come to your hospital room and capture those super special first days with your baby. In my opinion, there is nothing like it!

Family sessions begin an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset at a location of your choice. Meeting times will depend on the time of year.

The FAQs

What is a lifestyle session?

A lifestyle session is different then a traditional photography session. No props, no awkward poses, or everyone being expected to sit perfectly still while I scream, "cheese!" Lifestyle sessions are full of connection + love. Yes, I will capture the smiling at the camera photos but more importantly I will capture the in-between moments. The candid moments, these are the moments you will look back on and remember how you felt in that season.

What if my kid(s) don't cooperate during the session?

My goal at your session is for everyone to have some fun. I don't arrive expecting your kids to be perfect. We all have or limits and I will do my best to put them at ease. I am a mom of four and each one of my children have their own unique personality types, so I get it. Try and be as relaxed as possible, and if they see you are having fun, most likely they will too.

What Is a print credit?

A print credit is included in all of my packages and I sincerely hope you take advantage of it. A print credit gives you the opportunity to order some of your favorite photos + products from my professional lab to display in your home. I believe your photos should be and enjoyed and not just get lost on your computer or hard drive.

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
